La forma e l’ombra
La forma della sabbia nasce dal vento, muta con il vento, cambia la sua pelle con il vento. Il vento la rende astratta e variabile. Ma la visibilità della forma è data dall’ombra che sale e che scende nelle varie ore del giorno, creando un mutevole gioco di forme. Le foto sono state scattate nel deserto libico al confine con il Niger.
Questo lavoro ha ricevuto una Menzione d’Onore da MonoVisions Photography Awards 2021 per la categoria Abstract ed è stato pubblicato su the Pictorial List nel luglio 2023
The shape and the shadow
The shape of the sand is born from the wind, changes with the wind, changes its skin with the wind. The wind makes it abstract and variable. But the visibility of the form is given by the shadow that rises and falls at various times of the day, creating a changing play of shapes. The photos were taken in the Libyan desert on the border with Niger.
This work received an Honorable Mention from MonoVisions Photography Awards 2021 for the Abstract category and was published in the Pictorial List in July 2023
