Past and Present Times

Years, a large number of years, accumulate slowly, flow naturally, determine the life of a house until the house becomes a life, or life. Impossible to remove that house then without taking life. Living beyond is not a whole life, it is only a pale reflection of it, an ancient vision, but still well recognizable. It has impressed itself, it does not flow like the gray water of now, it suddenly comes alive with fleeting colors in a warmth of light which then slowly fades. This is life.
