Il Guggenheim di New York è il primo museo dei quattro musei creati nel mondo dalla fondazione Salomon R. Guggenheim. Completato nel 1959, è l’ultimo grande progetto di Frank Lloyd Wright, il più importante architetto statunitense del Novecento e massima espressione dell’architettura organica. E’ un museo che vuole dialogare con le opere d’arte astratta che ospita. L’intento delle immagini proposte è di esaltarne la vocazione alle forme astratte attraverso volumi e chiaroscuri significativi.
The Guggenheim Museum in New York is the first of four museums created worldwide by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.
